Bible Study @ BCA

We at BCA have taken the approach of meditating the word, in the pattern set by Jesus Christ. Jesus walked with the disciples every day, not just on Sundays and taught them about the Kingdom to help them grow in faith and become stronger each day. Today's global church is the testimony of the outcome of that ministry, that constant feed which made them strong people, who turned the world upside down, and brought millions into His fold.

We have a Bible training ministry, weekend bible study and a daily study group (on whatsapp) that helps us understand the teachings of Jesus Christ and the pattern of life, He has set before us. These different studies and discussion groups, enable the congregation to stay tuned to the Word and adopt the pattern of life, the Kingdom demands. The pattern that helps us stay connected with the vine (Jesus Christ, the Word) and to gather workers, and work hard, for the harvest is plenty.

Weekend bible study

Christian Apologetics By Ps. Thomas Idiculla.

Apologetics is the art of defending and commending the Christian faith. The purpose of this study is to provide confidence to believers regarding the truthfulness of  Christianity as well as to equip them to communicate their Christian convictions biblically and rationally in one-on-one conversations. It will introduce the participants to the basics of apologetics, the various apologetic methods, and examples of the apologetic task in the New Testament and throughout church history. The lessons will address select challenges to Christian faith and practice: Does God exist? Do Science and the Bible contradict each other? Why does a good and powerful God allow evil? How can a loving God send people to hell? Do all religions lead to God? Students will develop the Christian character and apologetic skills necessary to defend their faith and moral values in a world of competing world views.

Join us every Saturday from 7-8pm via webinar for our weekend bible study. Click connect to sign-up for our newsletter and stay updated.

Current Topic: The Gospel according to John

Jesus answered, "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'?" John 14:9

Understanding the Father is essential for a child of God who seeks to learn and live a life that is acceptable to Him. John walked with Jesus much closer than the other disciples and His account of Jesus has touched the hearts and lives of many, even outside the church. Here at BCA, we acknowledge that we the born-again Christians, His Royal Priesthood (Exodus 19:6; Deuteronomy 14:2; 1 Peter 2:9) have the responsibility to understand the lifestyle that Jesus has set for us through John’s account, to become effective and useful instruments for His Kingdom.

This study is planned to be a daily progressive meditation of this Gospel, with lessons for us from each day’s portion. Come join us in learning about Jesus and thus about the Father.
